right now that’s more or less expected. Unfortunately the autofill on android is pretty fuzzy, and so there are a few false positives. Although I prefer to have false positives, than false negatives… if you have an autofill but don’t need it, you can just ignore it… the other way around would be worse…
but I agree this has still room for improvement…
I would suggest making a whitelist—or should it be a blacklist? —I’d suggest the possibility to manually add exceptions to the autofill function, as you would adding new entries using the ‘website’ field (which allows insert the directory path for apps).
From my experience—driving a Samsung (SM-A346E) that runs on Android 14—this still happens a lot, having the greatest nuisance on Termux where every new command line gets covered by it and often gets triggered to open the app.
Anyway, thank you Herbert for the persistent upkeeping of this project.
