Bitwarden->Authpass Migration help : Error Dialog: Unable to open File

How can I export Bitwarden to Authpass? I didn’t know about Authpass and I’ve been using Bitwarden for years!

title:Unable to open File
content: Unknown error while trying to open file. KdbxInvalidFileStructure{Unsupported file structure. 0x20200a7b, 0x636e6522}

App Info: AuthPass (1.9.4+1872) [design.codeux.authpass.windows]

Follow the instructions on the Bitwarden support page to export your data as a CSV file.

AuthPass currently doesn’t have a CSV import feature, but when I switched to AuthPass, I used this workaround:

  1. Download KeePassXC on Linux/Windows
  2. Use their CSV import feature
  3. Safe the database on your device & open it with AuthPass

Because KeePass/KeePassXC and AuthPass use the same database format (.kdbx), they are all compatible with one another.

Hope this was helpful and have a nice day!:grinning:

Does not work with tried with Bitwarden as of right now. The URL goes in the username field, the result is not usable.

I did also switch from bitwarden to authpass.

What i did :
Go to bitwarden web and export to uncrypt sjon.
Install keepass2 on linux
Import the sjon in keepass2 , you can say there that is is a bitwarden export.
Save the file and open in authpass …

Keepassxc make a mess and not usable
