At the moment there does not appear to be a way to have the clipboard clear after a short time. This is a useful security option as it means that after I copy-paste the password the clipboard will clear and there is no chance of accidentally pasting the password somewhere else.
Agreed, that would make sense 
Should be easy, especially for desktops.
