Import CSV to simplify migration from other password managers

Hi everyone. I’m new!

Also new to dart/ Flutter and looking to build my coding skills.

I’m currently a LastPass (LP) user. I am looking to move my passwords to AuthPass as I see it as a very promising project. However, I have many passwords and notes saved in LP. Recreating all of these will be time-consuming. LP allows CSV export. Can we create an import CSV function to automate this migration process? Although I’m a novice I’m happy to contribute where I can.

I assume other password managers will work in a similar way?

I also request that a CSV import & export feature gets added. :+1:

When I switched to AuthPass, I used this workaround:

  1. Download KeePassXC on Linux/Windows
  2. Use their CSV import feature
  3. Safe the database on my device & open it with AuthPass

Because KeePass/KeePassXC and AuthPass use the same database format (.kdbx), they are all compatible with one another.

Does not work from Bitwarden. The import happens, but URL goes in the Username spot, so it’s not a usable result.
